How To Burn Fat Quickly - And Easily

In the summertime the main thought with millions of people, including me, is how to get rid of their body fat quickly before they head to the beach or don that slinky dress. I have tried a few small life changes which will, in fact, burn fat quickly and the results can be amazing. To burn fat quickly there need to be dietary improvements, exercise and a positive 'can do' outlook.

Fat Burning Foods

Fruit such as oranges, satsumas, grapefruit, tangerines, tomatoes and lemons - all are packed with vitamin C which burn fat quickly. Apples contain pectin which stops cells absorbing fat and antioxidants which burn fat quickly in the stubborn belly fat area which I have suffered with for years. I now have a flat stomach thanks to exercise and upping the fruit intake - especially apples.

Calcium in cheese, milk and yogurt also burns fat quickly. Eating dairy products, green beans, eggs, and oats regularly is beneficial and burns fat quickly. Porridge is a low fat satisfying breakfast and I became a big fan after my morning workouts.

Lentils are high in protein and fiber and these two nutrients will stabilize the level of the blood sugar. I make an indian dahl with a handful of ground fresh ginger, same of garlic and some chilli (to taste!) - one cup of red lentils to three cups of water - boil and simmer until a custardy consistency - delicious, nutritious and filling.

Exercise

Jogging - or brisk walking, cycling for 30 minutes a day, or a cardio workout will burn fat quickly. Get up earlier and exercise before breakfast - I found this the best option - then it is done for the day and you feel delightfully proud of yourself too. This will burn fat quickly - faster than working out later in the day.

Boost your workout, I added a fifteen minute warm up with handweights to burn fat quickly, and keep the metabolic rate up for hours afterwards. My personal exercises of choice were, zumba dancing and pilates - zumba raises the heart rate and pilates tones the body.

Drink More Water

At first I found drinking a liter a day a chore but soon became second nature and a pleasure - it flushes the system and satisfies cravings too. Don't use the flushing as an excuse to eat more - just drink more water - my skin, hair and general well being all improved. Avoid diuretics which won't burn fat quickly and can cause kidney damage.

Alcohol Slows Metabolism

To avoid fat accumulating on your trouble spots - thighs, (another personal bugbear!) arms, hips and of course belly drink water with your meals - don't drink alcohol as it slows down the metabolic rate and impedes burning fat quickly encouraging fat storage.

A Food Diary

Keep a diet journal - logging what you eat each day. This helps burn fat quickly due to the psychological fact of seeing your meals and snacks written down, spurring you on to eat less. I wrote a journal and it is encouraging when you actually see everything there in black and white so I recommend a 'body journal' - but be honest!

Follow the above rules and you will burn fat quickly, feel proud of yourself and within a short period of time (not overnight) fit into those previously 'shrunk' clothes - I now am leaner and have a new confident glow - and so will you.
